Headed to the Farm this afternoon to visit and to watch the University of Tennessee Volunteers take on the Georgia Bulldogs. It was a fun-filled day. We arrived to see the deer that Levi shot this morning being prepped to take to Portland to have it processed, Dad supervised Elijah as he made Rice Krispie treats, Terry helped Dad hook up a trailer to move it from one field to the back of Edith’s Farm to display the tree they will cut and adorn with lights to bring holiday cheer to their incoming Airbnb guests who will be visiting in December, went across the street to see the tree they will be procuring and then made our way through low hanging tree limbs and brambles to see where the bee hives were placed during the summer, ate lots of snacks while watching the Vols lose 38-10, played UNO with Elijah, the kiddos traipsed through the field in the all terrain vehicle, shot pool, made chocolate covered strawberries, played more UNO and topped off the day with a massive bonfire.
