Roy and the kiddos celebrated the end of the school year with their annual Slip n’ Slide party. The day turned into a real neighborhood get-together. Everybody pitched in and brought all the food: grilled burgers, sausages, hot dogs, peppers, smoked brisket, pasta salad, slaw, veggie trays, guacamole and chips, cookies, boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, Nothing Bundt Cakes minis, beer, water and soft drinks. Roy sat out the ping pong table, corn hole, tether ball, a slackline and had the tunes a rockin’. The party started around noon and lasted well into the evening with a raucous game of Four Square between the adults, a gaggle of teens and little kiddos.
