Roy’s Birthday – 2024

Happy birthday Roy-Boy! I reached back into our collective past to mark your special day with two albums to add to your growing assemblage of vinyl. We both vividly remember watching the MTV World Premiere of Michael Jackson’s video,  “Thriller” on December 2, 1983 so it was fitting to add the “Thriller” album to your collection.

In addition to that, I thought you should also have the 1976 release of “Wanted! The Outlaws”, again the soundtrack from our childhood. I mean really, what a lit of hits!

  1. My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys
  2. Honky Tonk Heroes (Like Me)
  3. I’m Looking for Blue Eyes
  4. You Mean To Say
  5. Suspicious Minds
  6. A Good Hearted Woman
  7. Heaven and Hell
  8. Me and Paul
  9. Yesterday’s Wine
  10. T for Texas
  11. Put Another Log on the Fire

I can recall buying this album for Dad that same year for either his birthday or Father’s Day. That part is lost to history.

I also threw in a few jars of Grandmother Ginny’s recipe for strawberry freezer jam that I made earlier this summer for you and the kiddos to enjoy. Cheers to you!
