Roy’s Birthday – 2017

A dozen assorted Bundtinis and a birthday card.

The kids got creative this year and crafted homemade gifts for Roy’s birthday. Elijah and I went into the front yard this afternoon and filled styrofoam bowls with the liquid from bottles of bubbles they had laying around the garage. We then added drops of food coloring into each bowl, red, yellow, blue and green, and then stirred like crazy.  Elijah then took the bubble wand and blew bubbles onto the paper. As the bubbles floated and then landed on the paper they popped and made a colorful abstract design.

Lily created a pencil art card for Roy. The front of her card read, “Stand with Pride”in big, bold letters and then when opened, there was a drawing of a lion, reminiscent of “The Lion King”, standing above the savanna overlooking a pack of wolves. So very Lily.

And as a sweet treat, a dozen assorted Bundtinis were waiting on the dining room table when Roy arrived home from work. Yummy!

Cheers to you Roy! Happy Birthday!
