Today was the BGA lower school “Book Character Day”. All of the students in each grade, including the teachers, dressed up as a character from their favorite book. We all gathered in the gymnasium and as each grade was announced, they lined up in front of the seated crowd and each child said their name, the name of the character they were portraying and the title of their book. Lily, being the cool kid she is, dressed up as a silent and stealth-like ninja from her favorite book, “Nighttime Ninja” by Barbara DaCosta. As they have in previous programs, the finale was the entire lower school standing up and singing and dancing to the Macarena.
