Happy Holidays – 2023

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I’ve compiled a quick look at our joyous month of December from selecting our tree, decorating the house, getting presents under the tree, dining out and get-togethers that all make the season merry and bright.

Grabbing lunch at Bricktop’s then picking out our Christmas tree and bringing it home.

Dinner at Gray’s and then the lighting of the Christmas tree, downtown Franklin.

I treated myself to two things this Christmas: a felted double-decker London bus ornament with a jolly wreath on its front and a 45 of the single, “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” that flooded the airwaves of Christmas 1984 and which I sang to the rooftops while decorating the tree.

Roy brought the kiddos over so they could hang out and open their Christmas presents, make Rice Krispie treats and play games.

Merry Christmas Day!!!

And lastly, on New Year’s Eve day, Candy and Jeff stopped by and we exchanged Christmas gifts and grabbed our annual photo together.

…and to all a good night.
