Levi’s Graduation – 2015

Can’t wait to graduate!

Terry and I drove to Lebanon this evening to watch another milestone unfold. Levi’s graduation from kindergarten. Seriously, where has the time gone? So proud of the little guy. He loves school, his classmates and is looking forward to becoming a first grader.

Dressed in their mini caps and gowns, the kids assembled on stage to perform a special routine they had rehearsed for all the gathered friends and family. They did such a wonderful job, singing their little hearts out. They used props, executed choreographed movements and each had an opportunity to step up to a microphone set center stage and to speak a memorized line. There’s absolutely no way I would be able to get up and do that. They were fearless.

After their adorable performance, the students returned to their seats and then one by one, were called back onto the stage to accept their graduation certificate. As the last certificate was handed out, celebratory clapping and cheering filled the gymnasium. Way to go Levi!

The proud parents. Levi looks dapper in his cap and gown. Stylin’ in his Converse tennis shoes. Funny faces. Aunt Shell with the graduate. Can’t keep this crazy hat on my head. Levi accepting his certificate.
