FCS Homecoming – 2017

Friday night lights. Hanging out in the bleachers.

To celebrate the end of Levi’s homecoming week at Friendship Christian, Terry and I joined, Dad, Janice, Jill, Levi and Josh in Lebanon for a good old fashioned Friday night football game. The Friendship Commanders took on the Eagles of Ezell-Harding Christian. It was a perfect night for football. By game time, it was still in the upper 70’s which was amazing for the end of September. We sat in the stands, hand over heart sang the national anthem, cheered the team along, and blissfully consumed hot dogs, potato chips and popcorn. Aaah….junk food nirvana.

To top off the night, the Commanders defeated the Eagles 53-14. A great way to end homecoming. Go Commanders!!!

Beautiful night for a football game.
The team takes the field.
Balloons flutter into the night sky.
