Elijah celebrated the big 1-0 today! He is now ten years old and officially in double digit territory.
Can I just say it’s a total drag having a birthday fall on a school day. Anyway, while Roy went to pick Elijah up from school, we hung out in the dining room ready to yell, “Surprise!”. Totally nailed it.
After opening a few gifts, we headed to Urban Air Adventure Park so Elijah could hang out and celebrate with his friends. Lily had track practice after school so Roy went and picked her up and she joined in on the fun with the neighborhood kiddos.
Elijah had a blast running, jumping, swinging, climbing, devouring cheesy pizza, doughnuts and opening presents with his friends.
