Terry and I met up with Dad and Janice for a casual birthday celebration dinner at Cedar City Brewing on the square in Lebanon. We grabbed a table in the busy pub then placed our order for four Smashburgers, double patties with American cheese, caramelized onions and pickle, with a side of French fries. For dessert, we treated ourselves to their super fudgy, stout brownie with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. But hands down the best thing we had were these toasty, cinnamon pretzel bites drizzled in chocolate with vanilla frosting for dipping.
Dad opening his birthday gifts we had in the back of our SUV after dinner. He added a garden rake and leaf rake to his collection of Kobalt tools he received for his birthday, along with a pair of Princess Bride novelty socks and the book, ” Churchill’s Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”.
